The United Way of Warren County proudly lends a helping hand for the following agencies.

 American Red Cross => Administers the national disaster and relief program when local needs arises, Coordinated  blood mobile drives.  It also has a very strong training program in water safety, swimming, life saving and first aid,  by  the Warren Chapter.

 Boy Scouts of America => Provides programs and activities that develop skills and team work with other members  and leaders, scouting programs develop character, leadership, ability, personal fitness and citizenship.

 Cheer Mental Health => Provides an array of quality mental services.  It serves individuals within Warren, Van  Buren, & DeKalb Counties.

 Cumberland Valley Girl Scouts => Girls of scouting age, enjoying an organization dedicated to helping girls  develop  as resourceful citizens, in the home, the church and the state. Using United Way of Warren County funds to  train,  organize and administer scouting through volunteer adults.  Girl scouting is for girl’s ages 7 through17.

 Families in Crisis => Provides 24 hour hotline, shelter for victims of domestic violence, counseling to victims,  appropriate referrals within the community, advocacy and accompaniment to court in domestic related matters,  community education, emergency transportation, and support groups for both victims and their children.

 Kids of the Community => Program targets three distinct groups of children.  Foster Children that have been court  ordered from their homes for various reasons:  physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, parents’ drug use etc.  They’ve  been sent to live with a foster family in order to remove them from dangerous environments,
 At risk children- Children are deemed “at risk” of becoming delinquent.  Usually because they live in low-income  homes and have already had minor offenses with the law.

 Juvenile Justice => Kids that face numerous arrest and court chargers and are placed on probation.

 L B J & C Headstart => Provides preschool services to families who are financial disadvantaged.  The program  includes a breakfast and lunch.

 Meals on Wheels => Provides well balance meals delivered to over 100 elderly or disable persons.

 Opportunities Inc. => Provides a workshop where handicapped adults could earn paychecks by completing  piecework for local Industry.

 Pacesetters => For people 22 years of age and lower.  Individuals’ work on production contracts obtained from area  industries and earns money for the work they complete while they learn valuable vocational skills.

 Retired Senior Volunteer Program => Over 200 retired seniors working throughout Warren County providing  services for seniors who are home bound and or do not drive.

 Warren County Senior Center => Offers a multitude of activities/services including information and assistance  outreach services, friendly visitation telephone reassurance, educational programs, recreational and leisure activities,  health screenings, physical fitness programs, food bank, volunteer opportunities, Red Cross Shelter, Homemaker  Aide  provided in home services to individuals who otherwise might be institutionalized, improving their ability quality  of life  while affording then the opportunity to live independently.

 Warren County Cares (a senior center program) => Allows handicapped/frail elders to live independently and  with  dignity in their own homes offering grocery shopping/medicine and commodity pick up and delivery services.

 Sunny Day Adult Care (a senior center program) => Offers relief to families or caregivers from the responsibility  of  caring for an adult requiring constant supervision and care.

 Warren County RAPP (a senior center program) => Educational and support group for relatives who are  primary  caregivers for children.  To provide assistance to finding legal, financial and emotional support systems.
